Colts Neck’s traditional farmland roots dates all the way back to the town’s origin in 1856 as a horse-raising and farming community and home to Laird’s Apple Jack. Today, the town is much more suburbanized. One can travel a matter of minutes to nearby Red Bank for more diverse activities, nightlife, alternative dining and shopping experiences.
Colts Neck is only a short drive to “The Jersey Shore.” For beachgoers or vacationers looking to relax, maybe spend a weekend or longer at some great beach communities, there’s Sea Bright, Belmar, Manasquan and Point Pleasant just to name a few.
